Think GREAT Scholarship for Military Spouses 2023 Acceptence rate

The Think GREAT Foundation is proud to announce its Military Spouse Scholarship Program, which will award academic scholarships to spouses of military service members and veterans who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll in approved/accredited learning institutions. The scholarship awards are up to $5,000 per academic year ($20,000-lifetime award per applicant), disbursed per payment term (fall, spring, or summer).

University Course

To be eligible offer for this scholarship, request must be U.S. citizens and must have been married to the service member or veteran during their time of service. All spouses and families must be enrolled or select in a community college, colleges or university course accredited by the U.S.

Department of Education

Department of education or select in a certificate/ licensure/or technical program and etc Scholarship awardness must maintain and persue a grade point average of 3.0 and continue to make satisfactory progress toward a degree to remain eligible for follow-on scholarship disbursements.

“Proof of Marriage and Proof of Service,

All applications require for Think GREAT Scholarship “Proof of Marriage and Proof of Service,” including a marriage certificate and relevant service documentation such as DD 214, DD 1300, active duty orders (with SSN blacked out), or a letter of membership signed by the commander/authorized unit representative stating the service member is in good standing.

Deadline

Requests for the Military Spouse Think GREAT Scholarship Program deadline by August 5th, 2023. The Think GREAT Foundation Board will review all applications and select scholarship recipients. Please note that applications are required for each academic school year, and documentation is not accepted via USPS, fax, or over the phone.

Military Spouses

Welcome to the 2022-2023 Think GREAT Scholarship for Military Spouses! This scholarship program is designed to support military spouses who are enrolled or planning to enroll in accredited learning institutions. Eligible applicants can receive up to $5,000 per academic year, with a lifetime award limit of $20,000 per applicant. Service Member

To be eligible for the Think GREAT Scholarship for Military Spouses, applicants must be U.S. citizens and married to a service member or veteran during their time of service. They must also be enrolled in an accredited community college, college, or university course or a certificate, licensure, or technical program. Additionally, applicants must maintain a 3.0 GPA and make satisfactory progress toward their degree to remain eligible for follow-on scholarship disbursements.

To apply for the Think GREAT Scholarship , applicants must submit the required documents, including proof of marriage and service. These documents include a marriage certificate and proof of service, such as a DD 214 or a letter of membership signed by the commander/authorized unit representative. Think GREAT Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

In addition to meeting the eligibility criteria and submitting the required documents, applicants must also complete three essay questions. Each essay must be 500 words or less and provide insight into the applicant’s personal and military spouse experiences, goals, and how the scholarship will impact their educational journey, life, and family.
