LoveFrom Scholarships overveiw
LoveFrom, a design collective led by Jony Ive, has launched a new program called LoveFrom Scholarships (degree scholarship). The purpose of this program is to support and empower future design students. LoveFrom believes the lack of diversity in the design community is having a negative impact on both the industry and society at large. The LoveFrom Scholarship Program provides financial support to students interested in studying design.
Each year, up to one student from the California Institute of the Arts and the Rhode Island School of Design and two students from the Royal College of Art in London receive these scholarships at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. increase. The scholarship covers full tuition and part of living expenses. Scholarships focus on areas that align with LoveFrom’s areas of interest. These scholarships are made possible by donations, which are long-term funding to each university.
This means the scholarship is permanently funded each year. Information on how to apply for these scholarships will be provided directly by the school and guidance may be provided during the admissions process each fall. LoveFrom has partnered with CCA, RCA and RISD to launch the LoveFrom Grant to promote diversity in design. The aim of this scholarship is to finical support creative and talented students from underrepresented backgrounds by covering tuition, housing and materials costs.
LoveFrom Scholarships Aims

CCA has so far awarded a scholarship to one student in the MFA Design Program, and plans to continue to support one student throughout his university life.
